This recent flyover of Tesla’s Fremont, California factory reveals what appears to be a new Ram TRX test vehicle on Tesla’s test track. These images and video footage come us via Gabeincal Youtube channel. This Youtube user published a video flyover of Tesla’s Fremont facility. It’s unclear whether this published footage has official permission from Tesla or not. This drone flyover does not appear to be attracting attention from the people that are below.

Official information about the production version of the Tesla Cybertruck is not available at this time. We have a recent report of the Cybertruck concept vehicle visiting the Austin, TX factory where it will be built.

While this flyover is not focused on the test track, it does show it several times within this 11 minute clip. There are a couple of relatively clear views of what appears to be a Ram TRX truck with wheel sensors and several other pieces of instrumentation attached to us. There is no Cybertruck test vehicle visible. Still, this raises many questions. Does it mean that Tesla is benchmarking the TRX’s performance as it relates to the upcoming Tesla Cybertruck?

The Ram TRX is equipped with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with 702 horsepower. The Ram TRX is rated at a 4.5-second 0-60 MPH acceleration. Many media outlets have clocked the TRX 0-60 acceleration at 3.7-3.9 seconds.

The upcoming Cybertruck will be available in several configurations, but the most powerful model is said to use three electric motors. Tesla estimates the Cybertruck’s will accelerate 0-60 mph acceleration at less than 2.9 seconds.

Naturally, there is a lot more to these trucks. The Ram TRX is equipped with Bilstein Blackhawk e2 active suspension system.
