GMC announces the full reveal date for the upcoming 2022 GMC Hummer EV. The world debut will be on Oct 20, 2020. Customers will also be able to reserve a Hummer EV on the same date.
The company also share a quick demo of the upcoming “Crab Mode” feature. The Hummer will have a four wheel steering capability, and the ‘Crab Mode’ allows the truck to mode diagonally at slow speeds – very much like an actual crab.
GMC says this feature is specifically designed for the off-road use case, where a tight and difficult situation requires more maneuverability.
