Here is a quick look at the available F-150 axle ratios, according to this order guide from F150gen14.com forum. The base engine is the naturally aspirated 3.3-liter V6 with the 10-speed automatic transmission. The old 6-speed automatic is no more in the F-150. Next up is the 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6. It’s followed up by the 5.0-liter V8 and the 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V6. At the top is the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 and the new 3.5-liter TT gas/electric hybrid.

The new F-150 hybrid that they are calling “PowerBoost” gets an electric motor that is sandwiched between the V6 and the 10-speed automatic. It’s Ford’s new modular transmission system. The truck can operate on gas, electric power, or both.
