This is what appears to a new 2021 Ram Rebel TRX vin plate. According to an anonymous insider source, this decorative plate will be place somewhere on top of the center console in the new off-road beast of a truck. This is unofficial and unconfirmed by Ram Trucks.
2021 Ram Rebel TRX
This decorative plate shows off the “TRX” font. It confirms that the truck is indeed powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged gas V8 engine with a 2,380 cc twin-screw blower/supercharger. This is basically the same size of a blower that is used on the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcat V8 engines.
This plate keeps the horsepower and boost PSI pressure unknown.
We also have insider unofficial information that suggests the following:
- The TRX will have several engine power levels from the factory. It’s not clear how many modes and what each will be called, but the most powerful mode could be referred to as “Demon mode”.
- the upcoming Ram TRX will be using a center console mounted transmission shifter. It does not have a dash mounted rotary dial shifter.
- under the hood, the Ram Rebel TRX is using a performance air intake system that is similar to the one used on the Dodge Viper.
