NBA star, LeBron “King” James, teams up with GMC to introduce the first ever HUMMER EV. It all starts today with the Super Bowl LIV commercial. You may know that LeBron James used to own a Hummer H2, and now he is ready to help launch the next chapter in the GM truck history.
2022 GMC HUMMER EV
We know that the upcoming electric Hummer will have 1,000 horsepower, 11,500 lb-ft of torque, and will be able to go 0-60 MPH in 3.0 seconds. GMC has already released these specs. We also know what a pre-production front-end of the new truck will look like.
We do not know much else. We do not know what that rest of the truck looks like. We do not know what size battery it will have or how much driving range it will be capable of. We also do not know the price. Although, GMC says the new HUMMER will make a full debut on May 20, 2020, and it will go on sale in the fall of 2021.
You can watch the Super Bowl ad here early. The ad will also play during the second quarter of the game.
