2020 Ford Super Duty Pricing Revealed, Including the Tremor!

The configurator has opened up for the new Super Duty.

After months of waiting and a few glimpses at order sheets, we now have official pricing information for the 2020 Ford Super Duty. The base model XL starts off $605 more expensive than the 2019 model year at $33,705 before destination, rising all the way to $90,530 and beyond for the king of the heap, the F-450 Limited.

Of course, in that pricing we finally have an answer as to how much the eagerly awaited Tremor Off-Road Package costs as well. Available on XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum Crew Cab 4×4 trims with the 6-3/4-foot bed, the Tremor package costs $3,975 over the standard F-250 or F-350 you build. For that money, you get a good amount of off-road kit, including:

  • 35-inch tires on 18-inch gloss black wheels
  • Increased ride height (new front springs)
  • Electronic locking rear differential
  • Limited-slip front differential
  • Skid plates for the fuel tank and transfer case
  • Unique front air dams
  • Water fording vent tubes for axle and transfer case
  • Rock Crawl Mode
  • Trail Control
  • Body-color wheel arch moldings
  • Tremor decals

Engine pricing

Three engines are available in the 2020 Ford Super Duty depending on which model and trim you choose. The F-250 and F-350 get a carryover 6.2-liter gas V8 as the standard powertrain. That engine puts out 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, and comes mated to a six-speed automatic on the F-250 or a ten-speed automatic on the F-350.

Beyond the 6.2-liter unit, there’s also Ford’s brand new 7.3-liter gas V8. The larger displacement engine is a $2,045 option in the F-250 and a $1,705 option on the F-350 over the base engine. It puts out 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque, mated to Ford’s ten-speed automatic transmission.

Finally, there’s the venerable 6.7-liter PowerStroke turbodiesel V8 at the top of the range. It’s been updated for 2020, putting out 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque — currently a class-leading torque number against the likes of GM and Ram’s heavy duty trucks. Like the gas engines, the diesel also comes mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission. However, unlike the gas engines, it’s an expensive option over the base trucks. The PowerStroke diesel is a $10,495 option on either F-250 or F-350 over the base gas V8. As with the previous models, the F-450 is only available with the diesel engine.

Correction 11/14/19: I originally posted the upgrade price for the 6.7-liter PowerStroke diesel at $10,745. The actual upgrade is $10,495.
