Ford Truck Enthusiasts forums revealed an updated order guide for the 2020 Ford Super Duty, current as of August 14, 2019. The guide goes through a wide variety of details, including key changes, standard equipment and options by trim level, including packages.
The entire order guide is available here, but we’ll hit on some of the key components of Ford’s order guide below.
2020 Ford Super Duty highlights
As with the previous generation, the 2020 Ford Super Duty comes in six trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited. One completely new engine is on tap in the form of the 7.3-liter, 2-valve gas V8, with 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. The new engine will also come with Ford’s 10-speed TorqShift automatic transmission. You’ll also have the option of a 6.7-liter PowerStroke V8 turbodiesel mated to a 10-speed automatic, although Ford has not announced official horsepower and torque specs for the 2020 model at time of writing. According to the order guide, Ford’s 6.2-liter gas V8 will also appear in the 2020 Super Duty lineup alongside the other two engines, mated to a six-speed automatic.
Apart from the new powertrains, one of the other major additions to the Super Duty lineup is the new Tremor Off-Road Package. The package is optional on XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum trim levels. Springing for the Tremor includes 35-inch off-road tires on 18-inch off-road wheels, a rear electronic locking differential, front limited-slip differential, performance front and rear shock absorbers, unique front air dams, and water fording vent tubes for the transfer case and axles. The Tremor also includes a Rock Crawl mode and Ford’s Trail Control, as well as optional power-deployable running boards on Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum.
The order guide does not mention pricing for any of the options, but this offers a much clearer picture on what is available.
