Forget about the F-150 Hybrid, check out this Ford F-150 all-electric prototype tow a train that weighs over 1,000,000 pounds. The actual weight is comprised by 10 train cars filled with 42 regular F-150 trucks. The actual loaded weight of the train is 1.25 million pounds.
Ford F-150 Electric
This prototype looks much like a regular 2019 F-150, but there are a few details that make it unique. The front bumper does not have fog light cutouts. On the side, there is a running board step with several unique components behind it. Is this where the batteries are?

Take a look at the video below provided by Ford. It shows the truck making at least two towing pulls: one with empty train cars, and another one with a loaded train.
Yes, the truck can do it, but will it tow this weight on the Ike Gauntlet – world’s toughest towing test? Ford says the actual towing ratings will be a lot less than this, but this is indeed very impressive.
