For now, this is simply a listing of all the towing numbers. Soon, we will test many of these truck configurations on our highway towing MPG loop and the Ike Gauntlet – world’s toughest towing test to really see which new HD truck is the best.

The big dually truck towing wars are really heating up as all three can be configured to tow well in excess of 30,000 lbs. Ford has two options for heavy towing. They are the F-350 and F-450 consumer pickup trucks. The F-450 has the same GVWR of 14,000 lbs as the F-350, but the F-450 is rated to tow 35,000 lbs. It’s very close to where the second-place Ram HD and first place GM trucks are.
Here is how the new 2019 Ram 3500 HD did on our highway MPG loop with a 29,000 lbs in tow.
