Lexus introduces the limited edition 2019 LX Inspiration Series in Los Angeles this week. What is Inspiration Series? If you love SUV luxury and a sinister look, this new LX package is for you. This LX is a total black out that includes the black onyx exterior and blacked out 21-inch rims. The LX Inspiration Series is limited to just 500 SUVs.
It’s not all blacked out. The interior features an exclusive moonlight white semi-aniline leather trim and a black headliner.
The interior is striking in person. The LX has always had a vault-like build quality to it, but interior feels special still. I am glad the seats themselves are done in white to compliment the blacked out theme with the headliner and the exterior.
Underneath, the LX is still the same. It’s powered by a 5.7L V8 with 383 hp and 403 lb-ft of torque. It’s hooked up to an 8-speed automatic transmission. This luxury SUV is not really meant for super heavy work. The LX is rated to tow a maximum of 7,000 lbs.
The Inspiration Series goes on sale very soon at an MSRP of $100,420.
