The May 2018 truck sales numbers are in, and the month brought mixed results. Ford F-series enjoyed another nearly record-setting month with 84,639 full-size trucks sold. The company continue to grow the truck sales when compared to a year ago. Ram trucks also had an improved sales month with 46,781 trucks sold. There was a recent report that the new 2019 Ram 1500 production was running at full capacity. As these production issues get resolved, we should see a further improvement in Ram truck sales.
Both the Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan sales declined in May when compared to May 2017, with the Titan seeing a significant drop off.
