There have been many rumors floating around about a Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison overland/adventure truck coming to market soon. While this news is not about the Bison, these accessories from American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) will surely make you Chevy Colorado more aggressive and ready to tackle some tough terrain.
First up is the AEV snorkel kit that is compatible with any Chevy Colorado (not just the ZR2). This includes both the 2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel and the 3.6L gas V6. The AEV kit and hardware are said to be tested to OE/Chevrolet quality and durability standards. The snorkel kit is available now from AEV.
Next are the beadlock-capable wheels that can be customized with a couple of different rings. The wheels have been tested to SAE standards, and offer provisions for tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The wheels will be available starting in July 2018.
All of these components will be on display at the 2018 Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, AZ. TFLtruck team will be at the Expo on May 18th/19th as well.
