Mercedes-Benz continues its push for more commercial vehicle market share in the United States with a completely redesigned 2019 Sprinter van and van chassis lineup. The Sprinter is new inside and out with updated design, functionality, and configuration options.
The van will be available in three types: cargo, passenger, and chassis. It will offer three powertrain choices: two diesels and one gas engine. The vans will be offered in several GVWRs of up to 10,500 lbs. Towing and payload capabilities will be similar to those of the outgoing Sprinter, but Mercedes did not yet release all of the specifications.
The van comes with the latest remote services system. The fleet manager and drivers can chose, unlock/lock, and monitor the vans via a smartphone or device.
We also do not yet know the pricing information for the 2019 Sprinter. This will be available closer to when the van goes on sale later in 2018.
