American-built 2017 Ford Raptor is now being shipped to Chinese customers. This marks the first time that a U.S.-build Ford F-series is being officially exported to China. Ford received a lot of interest for the off-road truck at recent auto shows around China. The demand was enough for Ford export the Raptor.
Ford is only the sending the crew cab version of the Raptor to China. These trucks have equipment that complies with Chinese regulation, including unique projector headlight bulbs. Otherwise, these Raptors have the same high-output 3.5L EcoBoost V6 (good for 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque) and the 10-speed automatic transmission.
