
Chevrolet announces pricing for the upcoming Colorado ZR2. This is an off-road focused midsize pickup truck with the all the off-road hardware and software. The starting price for the ZR2 extended cab is $40,995 (including destination). What do you get for the price?
It includes the 3.6L V6 engine and a 8-speed automatic transmission. The ZR2 rides on a wider track. It sits higher than a regular Colorado pickup. It has a unique front-end and under-body skid plates. It’s one of two factory pickup trucks (the other being the Ram Power Wagon) to offer driver-selectable front and rear locking differentials. The truck rides on class and truck industry exclusive spool-valve position sensitive DSSV dampers.
How much will the crew cab cost? How about the truck with the 2.8L turbo-diesel I4? What about optional equipment? Chevrolet has not specified these additional details yet.
