What will be our new long-term project truck? Well, we just bought a 1985 Chevy K10. It’s big and it’s green, and we are calling it “Big Green”.
This may not be the ultimate of K10 trucks. One major reason is the 8-foot long bed, another is the 305 cu-in V8. Still, Big Green has a lot going for it: the engine runs great, the truck has just over 74,000 miles, transfer case is working, all accessories work, and there is just a bit of surface rust on the frame and suspension components. The truck has a 4-inch lift and 35-inch tires that give it loads of character and off-road capability.
Yes, it needs a few cosmetic parts replaced (grille, rear bumper, etc), the seat needs to be re-upholstered, but this is will be a great long-term project truck for us. Stay tuned for more about the Big Green.
What is the price? Please, check out the video.
