Ram kicks off the 2017 Ram 1500 with the sport “Night” package. All-black trucks are the latest craze, but Ram “Night” package takes a slightly different approach. It mixes black accent pieces with other colors, such as the red you see here. The whole truck has a sporty appearance with body-color bumpers and side mirrors. It keeps the cross-hair grille, which is blacked out, and gain a Rebel-like tailgate with large blacked out “RAM” prominently displayed.
The Night package will be available in nearly all cab and bed configurations with the 3.6L Pentastar V6 or the 5.7L HEMI V8, with 4×4 or 2-wheel-drive. The powertrain for the 2017 Ram 1500 remains the same. The V6 still produces 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, the HEMI V8 still puts out 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque, and the EcoDiesel V6 is at 240 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque.
Here is the list of Night package additions, according to Ram.
