The Ford F-Series continues sales recovery in August as the supply chain is getting to a level it was before the aluminum 2015 F-150 came on the scene. However, the GM trucks are still growing by double digits and together continue to outsell the F-series.
The Chevy Silverado is again the most improved pickup in August 2015 sales. Ram trucks are also doing well with a solid results and steady growth.
The same cannot be said for the Toyota Tundra. The Tundra went down -15% went compared to August of 2014. It still holds on to the small improvement in the Year-To-Date (YTD) numbers.
The outgoing Nissan Titan soldiers on another month. The all-new 2016 Titan will not go on sale until December 2015, according to Nissan. So, the current truck still has several months to close out.
