The 2015 Chevy Colorado is fighting for market share in an increasingly competitive midsize pickup truck segment. This is the crew cab Z71 with the short bed. Power comes from the 3.6-liter V6 that makes 305 horsepower @ 6,800 rpm and 269 lb-ft of torque @4,000 rpm. The 6-speed automatic transmission sends the power to the 2-speed transfer case of the 4×4 system.
This Colorado does not have an automatic all-wheel-drive mode. You have the choice between 4-Hi and 4-Lo 4×4. There is an automatically locking rear differential and the Z71 off-road tuned suspension.
