The 2015 Chevy Silverado Custom offers loads of standard equipment for a low starting MSRP. Based on the fairly entry-level Silverado LS, the Custom combines the utility of a workhorse with a shot of modern style.
Check out the TFLcar “what you need to know” video on the 2015 Chevy Silverado Custom, live from the 2015 Chicago Auto Show:
On top of the LS double-cab model, the 2015 Chevy Silverado Custom adds 20-inch aluminum wheels, chrome bumpers, a body-colored cap above the front bumper, and chrome mirror caps and door handles. It also features four full doors for easier access to the front and rear seats, a 40/20/40 cloth front seat, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, power windows and locks, and Chevy’s MyLink system with 4G LTE-based WiFi.
Under its hood, the 2015 Chevy Silverado Custom is available with either the 285-HP 4.3-L V6 or the 355-HP 5.3-L V8. Choices of two- or four-wheel-drive also remain, as does a standard six-speed automatic transmission with either engine.
Starting MSRP for a 2015 Chevy Silverado Custom RWD V-8 model is $33,820; about $1700 in savings against a comparably-equipped LS. Stepping up to four-wheel-drive and the V-8 will set you back $37,800. Interestingly, the V-8 is only a $245 uncharge over the V-6. Other than saving a few pennies on fuel, we doubt anyone would opt for the latter.
