Toyota will not be outdone by Nissan and their long drawn-out campaign to introduce the next 2016 Titan. The 2016 Toyota Tacoma gets teased again, but this time we get a fairly good idea of what the front-end will look like. The design is appears carefully chiseled. The headlights resemble those of the current 4Runner and may include LED running lights.

Toyota says it’s not about to relinquish 10 years of midsize pickup truck sales leadership. They aim to set a new benchmark and even hint that the new Tacoma will be more formidable off-road than ever. These are bold statements and surely Toyota can back it up with a solid truck. It will be very interesting to see how it compares it against the now-popular 2015 Chevy Colorado and 2015 GMC Canyon. The GM twins are no slouches.
Look for the 2016 Tacoma to be unveiled at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) on January 12th, 2015. TFLtruck will be in Detroit for this, so you can expect all the latest videos from show.
