It’s time for the 2015 Chevy City Express to reach you local dealership. Chevy’s new little working van starts at $22,950 including destination charges. It comes in two flavors: LS and LT. The LT model costs an additional $1,500, but includes more convenience features. LT adds power door locks, remote keyless entry, rear park assist system, power outlets, and bluetooth connectivity. It also allows for more optional equipment that includes glass for the rear sliding doors.
The City Express shares the power train with it’s cousin (the Nissan NV200). It’s a 2.0L four cylinder engine with 131 horsepower and 139 lb-ft of torque. It’s backed up by a continuously variable transmission that sends power to the front wheels. It has a 14.5 gallon fuel tank and EPA ratings of 24 MPG city and 26 MPG highway.
The little worker has 122.7 cu-ft of cargo volume and has many customizable cargo tie-down and organization options. The cargo lift-over height is a useful 21.1 inches. And maximum payload of 1,500 pounds.
