TFLtruck team recently caught a next generation Nissan Titan test truck undergoing high altitude testing in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. And now, look what surfaced at the Cumminsforum.com! Up-close under hood photos of the 5.0-liter Cummins V8 in the flesh.
This 5.0-liter Cummins engine is not painted bright red as in official images from Nissan and Cummins, but it appears to have the same layout. The upcoming V8 is rumored to produce a little more than 300 horsepower and around 550 lb-ft of twist. The motor sits fairly low in the engine bay and lets the air intake to arch high and dump the air into the engine without much restriction.
We cannot wait to see the next generation Nissan Titan in all its glory, and put it to a proper test.
