Chevy rolls out the Colorado Z71 Trail Boss 3.0 edition today at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. It takes all the features of the production 2016 Colorado Trail Boss and adds performance enhancements in the form of specially tuned performance air intake and exhaust systems for the 3.6-liter V6 models. Chevrolet did not announce the power improvement numbers.
Although the Trail Boss does come with a 2.8-liter Duramax turbo-diesel, there are no performance enhancements announced for the diesel version.
Other concept touches include a lighted badge in the grille and customized ambient lighting on the interior. Rubberized floor liners and stainless steel sills add to the rugged image of 3.0 concept.
