News: 2024 Toyota Tundra Gets Updates, Costs Up to $3,340 More, & No Trail-Hunter Model Yet

The 2024 Toyota Tundra gets a few tweaks, updates, and color changes. It remains mechanically the same as before. The price goes up for the 2024 model. Most trims go up in price by around $1,000, but some more popular versions increase in price by up to $3,340. Here are all the details.

As you can see in the image above, the 2024 Tundra gets the new Terra color. TRD Off-road models get body-color trim, there is a new Nightshade package that is optional. The truck can still be purchased with a choice of two powertrains. There is a standard 3.4L twin-turbo V6 or a 3.4L twin-turbo V6 i-FORCE MAX hybrid that is rated at 437 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque.

Here is how the starting prices compare between the outgoing 2023 models and the incoming 2024 Tundras.

As you can see, the starting price of the base 2024 Tundra SR increases by exactly $1,000. The more mainstream SR5 model’s base price increases by $3,080. The popular Tundra Limited trim’s price goes up by $3,340. The well-appointed Tundra Platinum is $1,000 more expensive.

The 2024 Tundra 1794 Edition’s price goes up by $1,000. The top-dog off-road TRD Pro model’s price increases by $1,210. The ultimately luxurious Tundra Capstone’s price is increased by $1,200.

If you were expecting a 2024 Tundra Trail Hunter edition with a different suspension and overland rock-crawling capability – this truck may still come, but we will have to wait a little longer for it to be unveiled.
