This prototype appears to be more of a base model of the upcoming 2023 Chevy Colorado pickup truck. Thanks to Austin for sending us these images. Since the next Colorado appears to grow in size a bit – will it also be able to tow more?
Thanks to Austin for sending us these images. Austin writes: “Hi, I spotted this near Chandler AZ. I could be wrong but it looks very Chevrolet. Could it be the upcoming Chevy Colorado? Seemed way bigger than the current one.“
The current Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon are rated to tow up to 7,700 lbs when properly equipped. This is already a lot of weight for a smaller midsize pickup truck. Could the upcoming generation of the Colorado tow even more? We will have to wait and see. However, the prototype you see pictured here appears to be towing pretty heavy. You can see the rear suspension squat near its maximum.
Here is everything we know about the upcoming 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2 off-road truck.
