We could not be happier with the way our “Baby Yota” overland project truck turned out. However, it’s now time to sell it. To do this, we are putting our 2002 Toyota Tacoma on TFLbids.com auction site at No Reserve with all proceeds from the sale going to a local charity – Mountain States Children’s Home.
You may remember that we sold our previous Ford F-350 “Gunsmoke” project truck to benefit the same charity, and your response was incredible! The old Ford truck was donated to us by our friend David Morrow, we worked together to refresh it and rebuild it. Ultimately, the truck brought in $13,111 for the orphanage.
Let’s get back to “Baby Yota”. We purchased the truck several months ago for $7,700. It appeared to be in great shape, but we knew we could turn it into a much more capable and cooler-looking overland truck. We turned to our partners and friends for help with the build. Everybody came through in a huge way.
