The half-ton Titan is still available with the 5.6L V8 with 390 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque and a 7-speed automatic as the only powertrain choice.

All new Titans come with an updated 7-inch display with the latest NissanConnect infotainment system and available Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Rear Door Alert (RDA) system that made its debut on the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder makes its way into the Titan King and crew cab models. The system monitors opening and closing of the rear door before and after starting the truck. If the doors were opened and closed before the trip, but not opened after the truck is shut down – visual and audible alerts are there to remind the driver to check the backseat. Nissan says that RDA system will be available on all of their four-door cars an trucks by 2022.

As previously announced, Fender Premium Audio system is also part of the 2019 Titan lineup. It includes up to 12-speakers and 485 watts of power. We cannot wait to play some tunes on this new stereo system.

The popular Midnight package returns for 2019 with two new colors: Midnight Pine Metallic and Moab Sunset Metallic.

The 2019 Titan XD gets the same technology upgrades as the 2019 Titan (described above) with a couple of other changes. The heavier XD is still available with a choice of two V8 engines: 5.6L gas V8 and a 5.0L Cummins turbo-diesel V8. The diesel trucks now gets a larger Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tank and a gooseneck hitch with a trailer plug inside the bed. The exact specifications of the DEF tank will be published soon.

The 2019 Titan XD now offers two media USB ports and two illuminated USB-A ports on higher trim trucks.
