FCA’s performance accessories and customization division, Mopar, is doing something different for 2016. They usually work on Jeeps and performance cars. Enter the ’16 Mopar Ram Rebel. It starts life as a 2016 Ram Rebel 4×4 with a 5.7-liter HEMI V8. Next, Mopar goes to work with a cold-air intake system, cat-back performance exhaust, and special badging to let everybody know this is not a standard Rebel. This truck sounds even better than before and offers a small boost in performance.
You will be able to spot a Mopar Rebel by a blacked out front skid plate, blacked out rims, a blue “pin stripe” that runs the perimeter of the truck, and a small and subtle Mopar logo on the side.
Each owner also receives a limited edition kit bag with the truck’s “birth certificate”, a multi-tool, flashlight, a letter from Mopar CEO, and a Mopar brochure.
The ’16 Mopar Rebel pricing starts at $52,460 and they can be purchased at a participating Ram dealer. For comparison, a 2016 Rebel with the 4×4 5.7-liter HEMI V8 and a few options stickers for around $49,165.
The ’16 Mopar Rebel is a limited run of just 500 trucks. If you want one, don’t wait too long.
