The Ford Transit Connect and Ram ProMaster City close the 2015 sales year on a strong note in December. These two small commercial vans offer customers a lot of choice with various lengths and cargo or passenger configurations. The ProMaster City is firmly in second place for the month with 3,011 units sold. The Transit Connect sold more units in 2015 than the other three competitors combined. Although the Ram and the Chevrolet entries were new to the market in 2015.
The Nissan NV200 and Chevy City Express commercial vans continue to grow. The NV200 is still the best improved in year-to-date (YTD) sales with an increase of 29.0%.
