‘The Fast Lane Truck’ team was on the location in Detroit at the unveil of the 2014 Ford F-150 Tremor Sport Truck. The Tremor is focused on sporty performance. It’s a short wheel-base regular cab F-150. It’s got the 4.10 rear axle gears, electronic locking differential, and a console mounted shifter. There is FX Appearance Package on the outside and red seat piping on the inside.
The 3.5-liter turbo V6 still makes 365 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. It will be available in 2WD and 4WD options. This truck will not sacrifice any payload or towing ability. Ford says that it will go into production in October/November of 2013 and be on sale “in the fourth quarter”. Exact performance numbers and pricing are not yet known but Ford hints that 0-60 mph will be dispatched “in the mid 6s”.
