Updated prices are now live on the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 configurator.
GM significantly updated its half-ton trucks for the 2022 model year, so there aren’t too many major shifts as we roll into 2023. Among the headlines with the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 lineup is a more potent 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel, as well as a new, late-availability AT4X AEV Edition. You also get new exterior colors, a Graphite Edition on the Pro trim and a new 22-inch wheel design for the Denali Ultimate. Other than that, the main change across this year’s lineup is the pricing, which shifts by anywhere from $745 to $3,395 from the respective 2022 versions depending on which trim you buy. Destination charges also increase by $100, up to $1,895 for each truck.
The trim seeing the biggest price hike, as you may expect, is the off-road focused Sierra AT4X. The standard AT4X model gets some extra goodies from the AEV, built in collaboration with American Expedition Vehicles. Things like an updated grille, AEV front and rear bumpers and a beefy skid plate all come with the AT4X on its own, but contributes to the $3,395 price hike. You can still get the AEV Edition as a separate $6,895 package. That adds in four more skid plates, AEV-branded floor liners and 18-inch Salta wheels, should you want to take your AT4X a bit further.
