
A Rivian R1T helps out near Normal, Illinois this week by pulling a semi-truck out of a ditch. This is not far away from the Rivian manufacturing facility in Normal. The R1T is an all-electric pickup truck with four electric motors and a combined 835 horsepower and 908 lb-ft of torque. Electric vehicles are known for lots of low-end torque and this is one real-world demonstration.
The semi-truck slid off the pavement and got high centered with its rear axle in the ditch. The R1T connected a strap to the front of the big semi-truck and proceeded to pull it out and making it look fairly easy. Check out the short Reddit video clip below.
